Welcome to WikiProject Cleanup

WikiProject Cleanup is a resource for Wikipedia cleanup information, to post cleanup requests, and discussion. This project covers cleanup issues including page layout, wikification, spelling, grammar and typographical errors, tone and source formatting. All users are welcome to help edit or fix any page on these lists.

This project does not accept requests to perform work regarding editing to address conflicts of interest, and does not accept requests for additional sources or citations to be added to articles. The project does accept requests to perform source formatting and cleanup of existing sources.

This aspect of your request is for rather detailed work such as this, and would be much more suited to post at the Guild of Copy editors requests page at WP:GOCER, or perhaps at Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Korea. • Differentiable manifold Reasoning for the cleanup request:
  1. Error message "Script warning: One or more} {{cite journal}} templates have errors; messages may be hidden"; I don't know the correct CSS to view the messages (see Help talk:CS1 errors#Controlling error message display.)
  2. The text does not have a consistent style; sometimes it uses {{math}} and sometimes it uses <math>...</math>
  3. There was an inconsistency between the use of \phi and \varphi, which I corrected, but I'm not sure whether I selected the best alternative. See Talk:Differentiable manifold#Inconsistent rendering of Phi]

 Comment: That article is an inappropriate synthesis of two different topics, and putting them together in one article is not just original research but a basic compare-and-contrast exercise that you would get from a college paper assignment. The hatnote at the top of the article is inaccurate because these two terms really are synonymous with negative liberties and positive liberties. • Ben Spencer (politician) - Article looks to me to be quite clearly written by Spencer (uk politician) or a member of his team; two sections (political career and constituency priorities) are entirely unsourced and consist entirely of complimentary political talk. Entire article uses his first name. • Police vehicles in the United States and Canada - Article is predominantly sourced from content found at policecararchives.org (a self-published online database) which is not cited but mentioned only in the external link section. See this 2010 version. Probably should be AfD'd, but could use another pair of eyes for evaluation to see if it could be cleaned up (with a chainsaw trimming job). • Music of the African diaspora + Black music. In the context of music, the articles refer to the same thing, and probably either need to be reworked to make the difference between the entities clear, or the articles should be merged. List of musical genres of the African diaspora (which is probably also needs to be cleaned up) also indicates that there is no difference between the entries at the moment. Would like some pointers on where I can go with it, or perhaps a decision on scrapping the article entirely and starting anew/merge it into either South Yorkshire Passenger Transport Executive/First South Yorkshire. For those in the know, should I write about Mainline in that article or does that go in First South Yorkshire? Unsure if this should go here, but worth a shot at discussing. I would trim it myself but afraid to have the pitchforks from some fans come after me if the section detailing the characters and arsenal is better suitable for RangerWiki is trimmed down.
